May 2014, from June however, they are superseded by Hot Briefs.
Hot Briefs come freshly produced on a fortnightly basis: they focus on the hot topics,
highlighting what's hot with clients to the minute.
Hot Briefs are on trend, based on combined research undertaken by Getty, iStock and our own creative department.
For every Brief posted we select our top ranked image 30 days after the Brief has been put live. We then
highlight the image and member behind the best ranked image on our home page as well as through our social
media channels - we also fast track all accepted content through to sales.

Friendship, we all need it, it's part of our DNA. It is important throughout our lives and is relevant in every culture. The concept of friendship encompasses love, togetherness, connection, community, support and bonding.
Although often portrayed in a cheesy way on "Friends are" posters, it doesn't have to be:
- Positive playful moments can be cool
- Key moments of interaction can be stylish
- Friends sharing news can be exuberant
- And friends sharing views can be, a little heated
Friends are large groups, small groups, pairs, males, females, young, old, multi-generational, multi-ethnic, hipsters, unlikely pairings, long term, brand new, pets and animals.
Please be sure to get shots that are about friends interacting and not looking to camera - we don't want disconnected portraits - shots about interaction between friends and the person taking the photo are cool.

- Friends having a drink - single sex group/mixed group/mix of ages
- Mixed age friendship group in bar, restaurant or having a barbecue
- Bride and groom celebrating with their friends
- Child's birthday party surrounded by friends

Hot Brief Keywords. All of our Hot Briefs contain special keywords, as shown above. We include these so that we can keep track of the content, highlight it and fast track it to sales.
Include the appropriate keywords on any new file you create after receiving the Hot Brief. Do not add them to images that do not fit the Brief.
Please note
It is important to remember that posting images to any particular Hot Brief is required way beyond first month,
so don't stop uploading after then, as clients will still be buying this type of content for many months following,
if not longer.
